After having to get rid of my Ford vehicle at 75,000 miles needing a full engine replacement due to bent valves, potential piston damage, mysterious burning of oil even though there’s no leak, and a minimum cost of $1000 in labor to remove the cylinder heads and find out what else is wrong, and a suggestion that if we choose to replace the engine it’d be a good time to replace the transmission too, not to mention replacing the differential transfer case at only 60,000 miles, I am actually soured on Ford as a whole. But, there’s no denying the beauty of this unrestored 1956 Ford Customline. Shoot photos, not each other. And for your sake, if you’re going to invest in an American vehicle, go with General Motors.
