Winter’s Eve

A black and white photo of a fall leaf is rather unusual – with the lack of color, the purpose of photographing leaves is defeated. But, after several days of rain, the leaves were brown and my driveway was black and gray asphalt. To be honest, there’s just not a whole lot of color to squeeze out of this picture. On the first day of meteorological winter (for those in the northern hemisphere), it seems appropriate to leave fall behind with this. Shoot photos, not each other!
