In the Air…

So my wife have reached the point at our house where the roof just needs to be replaced. Long stretches of rain and storms have sprung leaks everywhere, and roofers keep fixing them. After they’re fixed, new ones spring up. It’s time. Today, the shingles were delivered. This behemoth truck is sitting in our street and the guy comes to the door… “Sir, we’re going to need you to move your car so we can deliver shingles on your roof.” As soon as he said that, I thought to myself “man, this is going to be good” and I grabbed my camera. I couldn’t quite capture the absurdity of a giant pallet with 3,500 pounds of shingles (or 1,587 kilograms for our European visitors) literally dangling in the wind on a hot summer day. Shoot photos, not each other!
