To be honest, when trying to get a shot of the moon, I just don’t care for clouds. But, some really like the look of clouds passing by the moon. I want to get up close to it and get clear craters. This was shot with the Opteka lens, aka “Thor.”
Done on an extremely heavy zoom lens handheld, this image is not cropped at all. Maybe I’m wrong about cloudy nights, perhaps they do add something to it.
